My desk is typically littered with loose change. The reason is fairly simple: I empty my pockets at my desk as soon as I come in. That made me realize something.

My mind, much like my desk, is littered with loose change. Thoughts swirl in and out and sometimes clash because I empty them out wherever they fall. Recently, I’ve begun organizing the change on my desk and collecting it in a piggy bank. Likewise, the change in my mind started to fall in place.

As a result, both my desk and life are cleaner and change is being used easier. Where do you keep your loose change?
